Toilets and showers

Modern. Clean. Safe. That describes our sanitary facilities best. The hard-working cleaning staff ensure that you have a pleasant stay throughout the entire period of operation. A1 Hotel Restaurant Grauholz AG operates sanitary facilities at the three different locations (Restaurant Nord, Restaurant Süd, Cafébar Nord). Travellers who only use the toilets are given access to clean toilets for 1 franc and to showers for 8 francs. The WC vouchers can be redeemed in the restaurants as well as in the Bistro Märit.

Why pay for an expensive car park in the city of Bern?

Important info: on Tuesday, 14 June 2022 and Wednesday, 15 June 2022 we cannot offer day parking. As we will again be the team hotel for the Tour de Suisse, we have no capacity for additional parking. Our hotel guests can use the car park at the usual conditions. For 15.– Swiss francs per calendar day, your vehicle will be parked in our secure hotel car park. Buy your parking ticket conveniently at the hotel reception. Drive there, buy your ticket and off you go. For a larger number of vehicles, we kindly ask you to book in advance by telephone on +41 31 915 12 12 or by email. Please note that only "blue zone" parking spaces are available on the Grauholz service area, which are managed by the municipality of Ittigen. A1 Hotel Restaurant Grauholz AG has no influence on parking fines issued and cannot take recourse. So don't forget to display your parking disc! Thank you.

Charging stations for electric cars

Have your car filled up at one of the three electric charging stations. Ultra-fast and free of charge for our hotel guests You will find charging options for your electric vehicle at three different locations at the Grauholz rest area. The ultra-fast MOVE charging station is located directly opposite the entrance to the Grauholz Restaurant Nord. You can pay with your MOVE membership. Only a few metres further on, there are 4 "ionity" charging stations available and an eBox charging station is located at the hotel. This is available to all hotel guests free of charge.
